Shabbat Service Schedule for Fall, Winter, and Spring

  • Most Friday evenings at 8 p.m.
  • Usually one Friday a month, a service at 6 p.m. The idea is to come to services before returning home to have Shabbat dinner. During the sermon, children can leave the service to do organized age-appropriate activities and then return once it's over. There will be no 8 p.m. service on these evenings.
  • Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. when there is a Bar Mitzvah or other special event.
  • Other Saturday mornings at 9:30 a.m. These services will finish at about 11 a.m. The previously separate Torah Study session held in the library will be included directly in these services.
  • Torah study with Rabbi Kraus, on those Saturday mornings when the service starts at 10 a.m., at 9 a.m. When the service starts at 9:30 a.m., the Torah Study is integrated into the service.
  • On the first Friday of the month, there is a Family Service at 6:15 p.m. A short, child appropriate, service is followed by a pot luck dinner. Please RSVP to the temple office at 617-484-6668. Children of all ages are welcome.
  • Usually on the second Saturday of the month, there is a Tot Shabbat service at 10:15 a.m. For preschool and early elementary school kids and their parents.
