Beth El is a Reform congregation of over 400 memberships, affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism, and the Synagogue Council of Massachusetts.

Beth El Temple Center is located in Belmont, Massachusetts. Belmont is a small town of about 5 square miles sandwiched between Cambridge, Watertown, Waltham, Lexington, and Arlington. It's very convenient to Boston and the academic institutions in Cambridge. The greater Boston area, of which Belmont is a part, has a vibrant Jewish community.

Beth El welcomes interfaith families. Beth El is fully egalitarian. Beth El welcomes gay and lesbian Jews.

Beth El is at Two Concord Ave., right smack on the Belmont/Cambridge border at the corner of Concord Ave. and Blanchard Rd (with a traffic light). A street map of the area is available for viewing. (Driving note: when coming towards the shul down Concord Ave. from Cambridge, the street numbers on Concord Avenue climb up into the 700's and beyond as one approaches the Synagogue. Once the Belmont border is crossed, the numbering starts over at 1.) Give us a visit if you're ever in the area.
