Candice Wesson joined Beth El in the summer of 2002 having previously served as Youth Director at Temple Emunah in Lexington, MA. Candice is passionate about Jewish learning, at all levels, and is deeply committed to helping people find meaningful connections to Judaism. She received a Bachelor's degree from the College of William and Mary, where she was a Monroe Scholar, and a Master's degree from Harvard's Graduate School of Education. Candice has taught pre-school through college-age students in a variety of settings, ranging from synagogues and public schools to less formal camp settings. She is also an accomplished violinist. In Candice our community is fortunate to have a Director of Education who is bright, articulate, a great listener, and is full of energy, creativity, warmth, and a contagious excitement.
